Your card, decoded
Every Rewind card carries two badges and a handful of stats. Here's exactly what each one means — nothing hand-wavy.
The two badges
Top-right of every card: an edition pill and your era archetype.
Edition — were you here for the Toccata era?
Toccata is Kaspa's covenants upgrade — the moment the chain became programmable (mainnet, June 30 2026). The edition pill says whether your wallet was part of that era:
- TOCCATA PIONEER
- You were active in the Toccata era — either your wallet was born after June 30 2026, or it has a transaction since then. You were on-chain when Kaspa learned to carry rules.
- TOCCATA EDITION
- Your wallet exists but has no activity since Toccata launched — dormant through the upgrade. Send or receive once and your next card reads PIONEER.
Future editions rotate with the calendar: Anniversary V the week of Nov 7 2026 (Kaspa turns five), then Rewind 2026 in December.
Series I–V — which era you were born in
The diamonds in the top-right of your card are your series number, and it's simply which of Kaspa's five eras your wallet was born in — numbered oldest to newest. Series I wallets have been here since mainnet week; Series V arrived after covenants shipped. Lower number = earlier = rarer.
Your series never changes — it's set by your first transaction, forever. Think of the five as a set: every card anyone posts is one of exactly five, and Series I is the one almost nobody has.
Archetype — your birth era's character
Same five eras, said with a name instead of a number. Your archetype is fixed by where your first transaction lands — it never changes, no matter what you do later.
The Torchbearer
Day one. You (or your CPU) were here at mainnet launch, before rigs, before ASICs — carrying the torch when almost no one was watching.
The Prospector
The gold rush. GPU rigs spun up and the hashrate climbed — you were mining the frontier while it was still wide open.
The Industrialist
Industrial scale. IceRiver ASICs arrived and mining grew up — you joined when Kaspa became serious machinery.
The Speedrunner
Ten blocks a second. The Crescendo hardfork made Kaspa the fastest PoW chain there is — you showed up for the speed.
The Covenant Kid
Native to the smart era. Your first tx landed after covenants — you were born into a programmable Kaspa.
Era boundaries are published, UTC, and sourced on the how-it-works page. If your badge feels off by an era, the line is in the open — argue with it.
The stats
- N days on Kaspa
- Exact days since your first transaction. Wallets younger than a month show their first-tx date as the headline instead.
- witnessed ~X%
- The share of every Kaspa block ever produced that existed after
your first tx. Always wears a
~— it's an estimate, and it is not a "how early vs others" percentile. - FIRST TX
- The exact date of your oldest transaction. One direct call — never sampled.
- TRANSACTIONS
- Your exact lifetime transaction count.
- ORIGIN
- MINED — your first coins were mining rewards (a coinbase tx, paid straight from a block). BOUGHT — you received them from someone else. MIXED — both. No heuristics; just the shape of your transactions.
- HODL STREAK
- never sent — not a single coin has ever left this wallet. N days — days since your last outgoing transaction. ≥ N days — an honest floor, shown when we only scanned your newest 2,000 txs and found no send in them.
~; sampled stats say so on the card. Your balance never
appears on a shareable card. Nothing is stored — no accounts, no
